Personnel & Social Services
The Defense Personnel Services Business Unit has approximately 2000 employees and operates at hundreds of locations across the United States and overseas in Korea, Japan, Italy, and Germany. We provide personnel services to military personnel, military families, and civilians working for the military. Our capabilities address a wide range of managed services, as well as the complete military lifecycle which includes recruitment, to active duty through retirement.
This is not an active open position. Serco Inc. is using this posting for the purpose of building a pipeline of interested candidates for future anticipated positions with our company.
The essential job duties are to provide one-on-one consultation, information and referral, classroom training, workshops and seminars to transitioning Soldiers and Family members.
Required Skills and Experience:
BA or BS from an accredited college/university, preferred OR
combination of education and experiences that qualifies expertise as a personal financial management counselor.
Must possess and maintain Accredited Financial Counselor Certification or nationally recognized financial counselor certification.
Excellent communication skills
Supreme customer service focus
Prior experience working for/with the US Military, a plus.
