Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

Provides high-quality audio-visual services and support in a multi-building corporate operation. Ensures that services are provided in a professional manner with an emphasis on providing superior customer service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Responsible, confident and professional support for both internal and external clients. Interaction with executive level customers via phone, email, fax, and in person. As a direct representative of CBRE, it is imperative that performance reflects the highest standards with an aim towards a flawless and positive experience for our clients.

Gather necessary meeting related details, input all details into conference room booking software, verify audio-visual system readiness, deliver equipment to all conference/meeting rooms, and custom arrange room furniture tailored for each event.

Conduct routine inspections of all conference/meeting rooms to ensure that equipment is operational and organized. Verify accuracy of equipment inventory and update as necessary. Complete work orders as necessary for any maintenance needs. Alert team to any developing concerns.

Provide hands-on support and technical assistance to end-users. This includes confidently managing live events while utilizing a wide array of conference related technologies.

Troubleshoot under time constraints when unexpected issues arise related to, but not limited to, technology, audio-visual, lighting, catering, temperature, security, shipping/receiving, building access, and furniture arrangements. Problem solving and multi-tasking under pressure must be performed in such a way as to retain our client's confidence that every effort was taken on their behalf.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one to two years of related experience and/or training. Bachelors Degree peferred.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to comprehend basic instructions and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding.

FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE

Requires no knowledge of financial terms and principles.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations. Ability to solve problems in standard situations. Requires basic analytical skills.

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

PC and Windows office product experience, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY

Follows specific standardized procedures to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause minimal impact to immediate co-workers and supervisor.
