Job Title: CAN Data Entry Specialist: New York
Area of Interest: Administrative/Clerical
Job Description: The American Red Cross will provide recovery services for survivors of Hurricane Sandy in affected states, primarily in New York and New Jersey. Period of Performance is 12/15/12 - 12/31/13, with a possible 6 month extension. Job Description: Provides data entry support for program, primarily in CAN with client records and resource database maintenance. Duties include:* Timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data collection.* Support case workers/managers in entering client information in CAN.* Assist in the maintenance of client files and release agreements.* Update client records as needed based on evolving program guidance and policies* Support Community Resource Specialists in maintaining resource database. Qualifications: Requires HS Diploma or equivalent. Data entry training or experience Experience: 1- 3 year data entry Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, handle and prioritize multiple tasks. Identifies and resolves problems and/or develops alternative solutions. Exhibits sound and accurate judgment. Other: Intermediate level proficiency with MS Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and CAN data entry
Qualifications: Qualifications: Requires HS Diploma or equivalent. 1- 3 year data entry experience. Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
