Custodian, West Amherst NY Area, Part-time, M-F 8a-noon plus Saturday rotation. Job Opening at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in West Amherst, NY

Basic Purpose:

Under minimal supervision, performs routine custodial duties and minor repairs. Assists in sanitation control and checks safety hazards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for emptying waste cans, disposing of trash and boxes.
2. Dusting furniture and equipment.
3. Cleans rest rooms and refills supplies as needed.
4. Sweeps or vacuums floors, mop specified areas.
5. Cleaning of windows, doors, glass
6. Washing walls, cleaning of ceiling fixtures, vents, sprinkler heads, exit lights, etc
7. Spot carpet cleaning as needed
8. Change lights as needed
9. Move furniture as needed
10. Assist Maintenance staff in minor repairs as needed
11. Other duties as may be required

Qualifications:

Education Preferred: HS

Work Experience: 0 to 2 years
