Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Communications Systems Engineer - RF Design and System Performance to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Brooklyn, NY.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Operation and Maintenance contract supporting the city of New York's Private Mobile Broadband Network (NYCWiN) which covers all 5 Boroughs and provides mission critical applications to First Responders and City agencies.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Responsible for collecting and using UMTS drive data to optimize the network and reduce disconnects, ineffective attempts, and improve throughputs while supporting System Performance and RF Engineers in evaluating and improving areas of poor coverage by identifying system performance problems.
* Responsible for reporting problems to appropriate engineers and in implementing solutions.
* Collecting analyzing drive test data in support of performance evaluations and build program prioritization.
* Troubleshooting and resolving customer complaints and trouble tickets.
