We currently have a Family Engagement Coordinator position open within the Enrollment Team. The ideal candidate is extremely organized and driven. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly motivated team committed to education reform, educational choice and the building of exemplary schools.

Enrollment Overview

The Department of Enrollment guide families through an extensive admissions process and ensures that all available seats in our network of schools are filled. From thousands of applications submitted, a fair & random, electronic lottery program determines Success Academy admission and Wait List status. Once the lottery is run, families are advanced through a series of meetings and document completion all before the first day of school. This ambitious admissions process is designed to help build a positive relationship with the families, as well as prepare them for the rigor and high expectations of academic life at Success Academy.

Role Overview

The ideal candidate will be a problem solver who is responsive to feedback and welcomes daily challenges. A personable, out-going individual with a knack for communication will find this position particularly suited to their skills. Responsibilities:
  • Take personal responsibility to acquire a deep knowledge of school policy and the enrollment process
  • Communicate and assist families throughout enrollment process
  • Assist in creation and maintenance of new student files
  • Monitor and maintain the quality of our third party call center
  • Assist in the planning of enrollment events
  • Attend enrollment events as support staff
  • Assist in maintaining database
  • Performing other tasks as assigned
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position must have at least 4 years of college or equivalent work experience and a high level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and organizational skills. Professionals from event management and customer service backgrounds will be given special consideration.

The candidate must demonstrate competency in the following areas:

  • Language fluency. Oral and written English (Spanish a big plus)
  • Oral and written communication. Comfortable addressing a variety of audiences with a knowledgeable and friendly demeanor. Experience composing professional emails and giving support over the phone.
  • Data Preparation. Ability to format and organize data within Microsoft Excel.
  • Database Management. Experience working with a database a must.
  • Organization. Keeps track of projects and deadlines, and communicates progress in real-time. Ability to plan and manage the details and logistics of events a plus!
  • Problem-solving. Approaches challenges in creative ways and finds thoughtful solutions.
  • Multi-tasking. Proven ability to work efficiently on more than one task and shift priorities when necessary.
