The HR Coordinator will assist the HR Business Partner in every aspect of the human resources function, providing consistent administrative guidance, support and coordination in key areas. The Coordinator will often serve as the main point of contact with the Human Resources dept. as it relates to the application of employee policies, procedures and practices.
*Post job opportunities on both internal and external job sites, source resumes under direct supervision of HR Business Partner.
*Screen and circulate resumes using HR and Hiring Manager's criteria as assigned.
*Conduct phone screenings and schedule interviews for open positions as assigned.
*Conduct reference checks on final candidates for assigned positions
*Source resumes from ATS
Special Projects/New Hire Orientation
*Assist HR Business Partner with all administration/documentation around employee relations issues.
*Assist HRBP with special projects specific to client groups as assigned.
*Point person for onboarding/orientation for NY and satellite offices (i.e. distribute, collect all paperwork required, collaborate with benefits dept. to run weekly orientation sessions).
*Answer employee inquiries regarding HR processes & practices
*Point of contact for all client group inquiries
*Serve as support backup to HRIS coordinator and other HR Coordinator(s).
*Handle day-to-day and miscellaneous administrative duties & assist with departmental projects as required.
-Coordinate requests for freelance and temporary personnel placement for various departments in the New York office to ensure coverage and support utilizing internal NETS system.
*One of two primary contacts for all non-employee requests and submissions. Coordinate with IT and Office Services for building and computer access.
*Contact temporary agencies to place requests and follow up. Also primary contact for agency reps
*Update freelance database (NETS) to monitor one year length of service. Send out monthly termination notices to managers, IT, and office service.
-Strong computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. -Working knowledge of internet recruiting sourcing.
-Experience with full-life cycle recruiting preferred.
-Strong communication skills (written & oral).
-Strong client/customer Service Skills
-Ability to act autonomously when needed
-2 to 3 years of experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems).
-2 to 3 years experience in Human Resources in a mid-sized company.
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (Human Resources, Communications).
