Responsibilities:
As a Human Resources Generalist, this role will work collaboratively with team members and business leaders alike providing HR generalist support to both internal and contract employees with a focus on employee relations and legal compliance. The HR Generalist plays an integral role in creating and implementing corporate policies and procedures and manages training focused on employee relations throughout the organization. The successful candidate will be energetic, respectful and compassionate, and can work at a tactical level while maintaining a big-picture perspective.

Serve as an consultant/advisor for branch and client services staff in the handling of ‘temporary division’ employee relations and legal issues including disciplinary action, interpreting company policy and procedures, conducting investigations and resolving employee complaints relating to sexual harassment, EEOC, etc.

Coach and counsel branch and client services staff on Human Resource policies, procedures and laws to ensure consistency and minimum exposure to liability.

Handle employee relations issues for internal staff.

Implement and interpret management policies and operating practices.

Continually assess programs and practices ensuring the organization is up to date and current with industry best practices.

Develop and maintain documentation and records in accordance to established company and federal/state policies.

Represent Company at external hearings, as needed.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Coordinate employee leave benefits (e.g. FMLA, LTD, Sick Bank, and Workers’ Compensation programs, unemployment reporting, etc.)

Monitor federal and state legislative changes.

Design and conduct HR trainings.

Participate in other HR special projects.
Requirements:

5+ years of progressive HR experience.

3+ years Employee Relations experience.

Experience conducting and managing investigations of a complex/sensitive nature including EEO related allegations.

Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Knowledge and facility for interpreting and communicating federal and multi-state employment laws and policy.

Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in the development of training and HR business process improvement and redesign.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience in the Staffing industry a strong plus.

HRMS/HRIS experience a plus.
-
HRCI certification (S/PHR) a plus.

Bilingual in English/Spanish a plus.
Compensation:
$55,000 to $60,000 - DOE
