Position Description:
Monday Properties is currently seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support benefits and payroll management.  The position will be located in the New York and will require close collaboration with the operations, cleaning, and accounting professionals of the company.  The responsibilities of the position are:
  • Address benefits and payroll inquiries from employees past and present in an efficient and professional manner.
  • Process new hire, termination, transfer, record changes, and all other related documents for full time and temporary union and non-union employees.
  • Serve as backup for payroll processing when necessary.
  • Utilize specialized software systems for department operations.
  • Coordinate with recruiters and administer recruitment process as necessary.
  • Coordinate with benefits and insurance providers as necessary.
  • Monitor and maintain I-9 and EEOC information.
  • Maintain employee filing system.
  • Work on special projects on an as needed basis.
  • Order and maintain department supply inventory.

Knowledge and Skills:

  •  Strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills.
  •  Ability to maintain confidentiality and display good judgment.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  •  Ability to type at a speed above 40 wpm.
  • Ability to communicate with callers, employees and professionals in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task with a strong attention to detail and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.                                   
     

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of Human Resources or payroll processing experience.
