Position Description
Maintenance Mechanic A Rome area company is looking for a maintenance mechanic. As a maintenance mechanic you will be responsible for the troubleshooting, repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and preventative maintenance service for all equipment in the facility. You must be able to perform mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of bunching and drawing machines.In order to qualify for this position, candidates must have high school diploma or GED. Mechanical and electrical experience is required. Plumbing and welding experience is required. Candidates must have excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Qualified applicants will be expected to follow all of CPS's employment guidelines, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., complete a background check and drug screen and commit to maintaining an excellent attendance record.
