Position Summary:

The Mechanical engineers, drafters and designers will be responsible for performing a variety of routine engineering assignments under the direction of a supervisor with increasing responsibility based on performance.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Interface with multiple disciplines, Project Management, System Owners, customers, contractors and AHJ teams.
  • Mentor junior staff.
  • May perform mechanical wet-side, hydronic systems design, mechanical dry-side HVAC and exhaust systems design.
  • May perform plumbing and fire Protection systems design, Process mechanical systems design and Control systems design.
Minimum Education and Experience:

Associate's Degree / DIRECT / 3-5

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Mechanical design background in industrial and advanced tech facilities, cleanroom design experience a plus.
  • Central Utilities and Energy Plant Experience.
  • Experience in systems design and implementation from concept design and criteria development through commissioning and turnover.
  • Familiar with applicable Codes and Standards including ability to understand and apply Client's Design Standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction contract documents.
  • Effective communication presentation skills.
  • Some travel may be required.
