Position Summary / Responsibilities
Oversees Product Support Department in technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to products in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations, troubleshooting of technical problems and issues, determination of technical solutions in accordance with product and customer specifications, recommending actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution, assessment of product needs in accordance with customer specifications, and conduct of technical training and product briefing with customers.

Manages Amherst Systems Product Support Department, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy.
Guidance Given, Assignments Received
Assignments are received in objective oriented terms. Provides guidance to subordinates based on organizational goals and company policy. Work is reviewed in terms of meeting the organizations objectives and schedules.

Regularly requires analysis of alternative courses of action.
Direct Work Involvement
Responsible for all projects assigned to the organizational group. Advisor to lower level managers. Helps meet established schedules or resolve technical or operational problems. Typically accomplishes results through lower level(s) of mgmt or exempt employees.

Establishes operating procedures that affect organizational unit(s). Interprets, executes, and recommends modifications to organizational policies. Establishes operating policies and procedures that affect subordinate organizational units.

Accomplishes results through subordinate supervisors, or exempt employees. Subject to approval, modifies the organizational structure of centralized functions and units

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree minimum 10 years experience
in military or aerospace systems or equivalent in either
industry or the Government
* Demonstrated success in leading and developing
cross functional teams.
* Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to
communicate effectively verbally and in writing, with all
levels of management and individual contributors.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Ability to travel domestically and internationally
* U.S citizen and ability to obtain US Government Secret
