NY SARATOGA **Assoc Leader Territory Sales Job Opening at The Schwan Food Company in Saratoga Springs, NY

This position is primarily responsible for assuming the management of a sales and operation company and supervision of the Supv Sales Distribution Support and Sales Supervisor in the absence of a Territory Sales Leader. They may be placed at any company within the district or occasionally within the region. They may also be responsible for assisting in the management of a sales and operations company in partnership with a Territory Sales Leader.

• Within Company policy, exercises full supervisory authority over direct and indirect reports to include, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, appraising performance, adjusting pay, disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving issues.
• Assists in Managing the effective distribution of frozen food products within specified geography containing multiple distribution sites to include, but not limited to, forecasting accuracy, inventory control, inspections, safety compliance, material handling, and efficiency of the warehouse operations.
• Ensures the administration of the sales and operations is accurate and timely. This includes updating and maintaining sales employment equipment and any other related records.
• Ensures that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and kept in safe and productive condition. This includes, but is not limited to, delivery vehicles, freezers, hand held terminals, and office equipment.
• Ensures compliance with all applicable corporate local state and federal policies rules and regulations.
• Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission values code of ethics policies and other standards of conduct.

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Years of Related Experience: Minimum of 5 years or more related work experience.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Good PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
• The ability to effectively present information in group settings to a wide variety of audiences.
• Excellent driving record.
• Effective budget management.
• Thorough knowledge of company and group products polices processes etc.
• Must meet the Federal Department of Transportation eligibility requirements including appropriate driver's license and corresponding medical certification as a condition of employment for this position.
