Brief Description

Manage specific aspects of pricing as assigned by Region Pricing Manager. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, while maintaining procedures and policies that are focused on pricing accuracy and profit maximization.

Detailed Description

* Aligned with District, Branch and Purchasing Management exploring and finding solutions for margin expansion.

* Manage pricing execution, to include data integrity and consistency.

* Willingness to take initiative in identifying and resolving issues around pricing and margins.

* Determine Customer segmentation and buying behavior reclassifications

* Review and approve non-standard pricing requests

* Take ownership of process improvements and drive to successful implementation.

* Manage and consistently perform branch general price recalibrations

* Implement Price Improvements fed from Pricing Analysts

* Provide formal and informal training related to various aspects of pricing and margin to all applicable personnel

* Price override oversight and reduction

Job Requirements
  • Strong background in pricing structures and techniques
  • Exhibits strong personal leadership and has the ability to teach and help others professionally
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills are a must as this position is accountable for ensuring accurate customer pricing.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business analytic skills sets including a proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask and set priorities
  • Electrical product knowledge preferred.
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have the ability to set priorities, manage a diversity of job responsibilities with effective organizational skills, and work within deadlines.
  • B.S. or equivalent work experience
  • 3 - 5 years' work experience.
  • Travel required (50% +)
