Position Title: Sr. Sales Executive, Government & Defense Markets
Classification: Full Time Position
Location: Anywhere in the US
Reports To: Director of Sales, Industrial Power Group
Effective Date: 02/07/13

Responsibilities:
Sales of battery-based, primarily off-grid, solar electric components and systems.
Identify, qualify and recruit new industrial market customer accounts in government,
military/defense contractor, and related markets.
Primary contact and administration of government sales under our GSA Federal Supply
Schedule contract.
Meet sales goals, help increase market share and strengthen current business relationships.
Attend trade shows and customer trainings, and stay up to date with current solar technology
trends.
Utilize in house tools and staff to assess and maximize business opportunities.
Execute timely business forecasting.
Follows the Company's strategic objectives and sales goals.
Ensure new customer satisfaction in coordination with sales and marketing directives.
Effectively communicate and document results for internal and external customers.

Qualifications & Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or an equivalent broad-based 4-
year degree or equivalent work experience
7 years of sales or business development experience in the targeted market segments
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills with
dynamic approach to sales
Demonstrated proficiency in the full MS Office productivity suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Power
Point) and additional preference for ability to leverage a CRM and/or ERP such as Microsoft
Dynamics AX sales module for sales opportunity reporting and tracking
Experience in GSA Federal Supply Schedule sales is preferred
Solid interpersonal and detail oriented organizational skills.
