Job Description:

This position may be responsible for quoting and issuance of new and renewal policies, in addition to processing endorsements. This position may also be primary contact for the fielding of high volume inquiries of service related issues from agents, insureds and Tower employees; and for resolving technical and underwriting support issues of varying complexity for same.

Principle Accountabilities May Include:

  • Quote and issuance of new business submissions and renewal policies.

  • Issue policy changes according to authority and underwriting instructions.

  • Resolve DMV / MVF errors and suspensions.

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding service standards and minimizing errors.

  • Meet productivity and quality requirements as established in department objectives; collaborates with team members to manage work inventories.

  • Recognize workflow inefficiencies and recommends solutions to resolve them.

  • Fields phone calls from external and internal customers; works to resolve service issues and responds to basic product, process, and procedure questions.

  • Build positive working relationships with internal and external customers.

  • Assists in training of new hires.

  • Work within authority levels to review and analyze risks to determine whether to proceed with processing, decline or refer.

  • Participate in projects, as directed by management.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma with demonstrated experience required. Must be highly organized, and possess good communication skills. Customer Service skills preferred. 0-3 prior insurance experience preferred.
