What you can expect from us:

The Role:

The Designer role will work closely with the Creative Director and collaborate closely with both the Senior Producer (project manager) and the Senior Designer. They will contribute to the creation of impressive visual materials for the sales and marketing team. These materials encompass pitch decks, email newsletters, social media assets, event promotion, mock-ups, and innovative creative concepts. Prior experience in an agency setting is advantageous for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the creation of layout and design of pitch decks and marketing materials.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time from concept through pre-production and manage the full scope of deliverables, including design specifications and technical drawings.
  • Verify the technical correctness of art files and ensure they meet the specified manufacturer's requirements.
  • Perform a high degree of quality control to maintain a cohesive visual identity across various print formats while adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Transform design concepts into print or digital assets.
  • Ensure typography, layout, and color meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team for seamless execution.
  • Communicate and present designs to cross-functional partners and all levels of leadership.
  • Perform, organize, and streamline production artwork and image mockups.

Requirements:

The Basics:

  • Bachelor's in design or Bachelor's of Fine Arts or equivalent is preferred, but not required.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a professional designer in agencies or equivalent brand-related roles is required.
  • Proficient in creating, correcting, and exporting files in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Acrobat Pro DC.
  • Proficient in content tracking systems: Airtable, Google Drive, Asana, Slack.
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:

  • Mastery of layout and typography.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Critical eye for detail, consistency, and quality

  • Ability to take revisions and respond creatively.

  • Up to date on industry standards and techniques for Adobe Suite Creative Products, including Adobe Illustrator, Indesign and Photoshop. Some After Effects experience is preferred but not required.

  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset to address challenges in the design-to-print process

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • The primary work environment is an office.
  • The specific physical demands/requirements of the job include: lifting less than 10% of the time, reading, color distinction, acuity, sitting greater than 50% of the time, and talking.
