What part will you play?

As a Programmer, you will be involved in developing the system code and involved with user interface. This person must be able to remotely support a variety of software deployments to help debug and implement systems.

Discover new ways to push the boundaries of what a device can do. Collaborate with others to create innovative ideas and solutions where people can meet and learn. This position is for people who are curious, driven, and enjoy the challenge of creating code to solve problems. You will develop code for Crestron, Q-sys and other platforms. Our global programming team pushes the boundaries while working with the latest technologies.

What will you be doing?

• Coordinate and develop programming and UI/UX design with key project stakeholders.
• Develop technology solutions in accordance with existing company standards
• Deploy, debug and troubleshoot code, during testing and sign off
• Creates responsive UI/UX
• Provide remote technical assistance for commissioning and end users
• Read and interpret schematic line drawings and scopes of work
• Working collaboratively with an international team of programmers

Complexity:
The programmer needs to have a deep understanding of all technical aspects of systems design and UI/UX for complex systems. This position works collaboratively with design engineering, field engineering, project management and our clients. This position requires a unique set of skills to be successful: programming, graphic design and customer service skills. This position must be able to maintain professionalism under pressure while paying a high level of attention to detail. A thorough understanding and ability to communicate the system requirements and the client's needs, is vital to maintain expectations between all the stakeholders.

Decision Making Authority:
This position has a high level of autonomy. Prioritization management is critical, maintaining key deliverables on a day-to-day basis. Work with project groups while providing support along with guidance. Proven ability to take direction and develop solutions.

What do we require from you?

Education/Certifications:

• Associates/Bachelors degree required and/or equivalent experience.
• AVIXA General CTS optional
• Other relevant or related certifications qualify

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:

• Two plus years or more of experience in development work (front end, back end or full stack)
• Crestron P-201, Q-sys Control 101 and/or Extron ECP
• Experience with AR development is optional
• AI and machine learning is optional
• Networking experience is preferred
• Experience with collaborative design tools (e.g. Figma)
• Experience in the use of graphics programs is optional
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products & Visual Studio
• Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD line drawings
• Knowledge of AV industry
• Working knowledge of DSP programs is optional
