Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Second Cook.
In this role, the successful candidate is responsible for performing work of moderate difficulty in the preparation of food.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Three (3) years of cooking experience in a health care institution or commercial establishment with a large volume food service. Must be knowledgeable in portion control and forecasting procedures. Must be able to understand and communicate effectively in English. Must be able to give and follow written and verbal instructions.
Preferred Licenses: ServSafe Certification
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $50,300.06 - $55,204.37 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
