The Digital Marketing Activation Manager will develop strategies to be executed on Verizon.com and other digital properties to support products and strategic platforms. You would partner with internal stakeholder groups (i.e. Customer Experience Design, Device Marketing, Digital Operations, Product, GTM, Integrated Marketing, Legal) to develop an integrated strategy across all digital channels, and work with partners on the business and creative strategy side to see projects through to completion. There will be a strong focus on delivering a customer journey that provides a premium experience, driving sales, and furthering our brand narrative.

  • Leading Verizon's digital communications strategy, through briefs and strategy documents, in the development and execution of innovative and engaging customer experiences.

  • Developing the overarching Verizon narrative for the digital channels, furthering the Verizon value proposition, and ensuring that it is accurately and effectively carried through the work

  • Supporting product launches, key products, and services across all digital channels, and integrated campaigns.

  • Monitoring campaign performance and providing insights to identify opportunities for better engagement and conversion.

  • Aligning and integrating with inter and cross-channel teams, managing the ongoing communication with these stakeholders for applicable projects. Stakeholders include, but are not limited to other Marketing Activation channel teams (e.g. Retail), Integrated Marketing, GTM, Brand, Production, Customer Experience/Design, Digital Ops, Product and Device teams, IT, and their vendors.

  • Collaborating with internal partners/integrated marketing to ensure work remains consistent with other channels to reinforce the message and result in immediate customer action.

  • Balancing when to lead creative development and be a part of a more integrated team, which will vary by project.

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Experience developing and implementing marketing communications plans.

  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.

  • Experience in digital analytics and reporting tools (i.e. Content Square, Adobe Analytics).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Strong business acumen and critical/strategic thinking ability.

  • Ability to develop insights and performance analysis for strategic briefs.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to think creatively.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

  • Ability to execute programs and drive measurable results.

  • Experience in working in highly complex environments.

  • Experience in marketing communications or other creative experience with a focus on translating market knowledge/strategy into compelling stories and tools for sales channels.

  • Experience in developing/executing effective digital marketing programs.

  • Experience in project managing across functional teams.

  • Ability to work independently and make quick decisions.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Flexibility to respond to changing direction.

  • Experience in Agency management.

  • Knowledge of standard data benchmarks on dotcom.

  • Ability to draw conclusions and insights from data.

If you are hired into a California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Rhode Island or Washington work location, the compensation range for this position is between $114,000.00 and $212,000.00 annually based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
