Job SummaryTYLin is currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our Rail + Transit team. This opportunity is open to professionals who may be based out of the NYC area.Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as a project engineer in the civil/structural design of transit facilities, including stations, retaining walls and other structures
Assist in producing engineering drawings and details from conception to final design, according to established standards and procedures
Assist in conducting site inspections of existing structures as well as those under construction as required by the project
Communicate and work with other project team members to provide quality service to clients to ensure that all documentation conforms to client/company standards
Assist in preparing effective proposals seeking targeted project opportunities
Other assignments as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural engineering
3-6 years of civil/structural engineering experience with a focus on transit and transportation projects
A PE License is required, SE desired
Strong computer skills including experience in AutoCAD, MS Office and other technical software packages
Periodic travel may be required

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of87,800 - $131,600 annually for this position and local market.
