Overview

As the Trade Closing Analyst in the Transaction Coordination Group, you will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and executing trade confirms, assignment & acceptance agreements, participation agreements, funding memos in addition to other documents. You will liaise with high profile clients, borrowers, and agents in order to facilitate closings in a timely manner. You will be responsible for managing high volume, reviewing Know-Your-Client (KYC), and credit agreements.

What You'll Do

  • Review, understand and comprehend complex salability language in credit agreements relating to transfer of bank debt from seller to buyer

  • Draft and review trade confirm, Assignment & Acceptance Agreement, Participation Agreement, Transfer Certificates, Accession Deed, Multilateral and Bilateral agreement and Proceeds Payout Letter. Draft/review Funding Memorandum of economics due seller/buyer relating to bank debt transfer

  • Liaise with high profile client, borrower, agent banks to facilitate closing in a timely manner. Work directly with the counterparty, Trading desks, and funding teams

  • Initiate and coordinate trade settlement process with ClearPar and internal trade settlement team. Maintain metrics on Trade Closings and monitor key performance indicators on the closing process for senior management

  • Create and Enhance Key Operating Procedures for the team. Generate necessary reporting and reconciliations for front office. Coordinate internal KYC review to mitigate risk profile

  • Managing high volume, high dollar value exposure. Serve as a client escalation contact for issues that may arise

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics, proficient experience in finance

  • Above average competency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Access

  • Must be highly motivated, organized, and proactive

  • Acute sense of priority/urgency and very responsive to client, front office needs

  • Ability to adapt to market changes and conditions. The ability to work independently and in a team environment. Strong critical thinking capacity to resolve complex issues

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Knowledge of Loan Syndications and Trading Association and LMA terms

  • Experience with Loan IQ/ LS2 and Markit settlement platform (Clearpar)

  • Aptitude in Mathematics and analysis to draft and understand complex pricing from restructuring

  • Worked on a global scale to deliver client's expectation

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City or Jacksonville is $70,000 to $130,000.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
