About AIFS

Founded in 1964, the American Institute For Foreign Study (AIFS) is one of the oldest, largest, and most respected cultural exchange organizations in the world. With global offices in 6 countries, we organize cultural exchange programs for more than 50,000 participants each year. Our programs include College Study Abroad, Au Pair placement, Camp Counselors and staff, High School Study/Travel, and Insurance services. Since 1964, more than 1.5 million students and teachers have participated in AIFS programs worldwide.

AIFS is looking for a content creator with strong digital marketing skills who can write effective, concise copy to market it's exciting cultural exchange programs to join their dynamic Marketing team.

Duties include:

• Producing original, clear, and credible copy for multiple audiences and across different platforms including website content (SEO optimized), advertisements, email communications, print materials, press releases and social media
• Researching competitors and staying on top of market trends
• Editing existing or provided copy for spelling, grammar, and consistency
• Liaising with clients and colleagues and meeting project teams to consider advertising requirements
• Updating and amending campaigns according to feedback
• Assisting with the creation and upkeep of integrated multi-platform editorial calendar/schedule
• Updating meta content on websites

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• A minimum of 3 years of professional writing experience across multiple platforms
• Works well independently and with a team
• Hands-on experience with content management systems (i.e., WordPress)
• Willingness to learn HubSpot
• Familiarity with SEO optimized content
• Excellent written communications skills
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Creative, self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Flexible and detail oriented. Able to handle multiple assignments, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with HubSpot a plus.

Work Environment

This job operates in a hybrid environment. AIFS offers a 35-hour work week during the business hours of 9 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday. The ideal candidate is expected to be in the Stamford, Connecticut office Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and one additional day per month.

Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 annually.
