Business Unit Description:

Driven by Enovis' desire to create innovative products that help improve quality of life and restore movement to those suffering from degenerative arthritis, Enovis Surgical provides orthopedic surgeons with modern, patient-focused solutions for total joint arthroplasty. Partnerships with key surgeon consultants help provide advanced and proprietary patented solutions, including EMPOWR 3D Knee, the only dual-pivot knee system on the market, and AltiVate Reverse Shoulder, a market-leading system, based on the design principles of the RSP Shoulder, which has demonstrated excellent clinical outcomes at 10 years. Enovis Surgical offers surgeons and their patients a full range of primary and revision implants for hip, knee, shoulder, and elbow reconstructive joint surgeries, in addition to the tools and digital health technology needed in today's changing healthcare environment.

Job Title/High Level Position Summary: (Solidworks 3D CAD Designer for Manufacturing)

  • As an Enovis Manufacturing Tech-4, you will take ownership of managing and improving Solidworks 3D CAD models, drawings, overlays, tooling detailing as related to QC gaging as well as tool and fixture design. You will continuously drive to keep your assigned 3D CAD processes as current and efficient as possible, especially regarding print development efficient, documentation, and overall workflow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to production and manufacturing engineers on a variety of 3D CAD design work tasks.

  • Executes experiments and gathers, maintains, formats, and compiles technical data.

  • Aids in the planning and implementation of manufacturing engineering process changes or engineering design changes to support plant operations.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Agile and Oracle ERP systems.

  • Performs under supervision, applies intermediate skills, may adapt new procedures, techniques, tools, etc.

  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.

  • Solve basic problems. May assist in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of other employees.

  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Minimum Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on relevant manufacturing experience.

  • Functional/Technical Skills - Possesses high level of skill, knowledge, and ability in assigned functional area.

  • Safety - Complies with company safety rules and regulations. Takes a proactive approach to identify and eliminate safety hazards.

  • Customer Focus - Gives high priority to customer satisfaction.

  • Interpersonal Skills - Uses diplomacy and tact. Uses collaborative skills.

  • Action Oriented & Adaptability - Takes initiative; acts promptly; is proactive.

  • Associate degree in manufacturing or higher preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in an office and manufacturing environment (Constant)
