What part will you play?

The Sales Support Administrator will be responsible for managing the sales administration team members in their roles and responsibilities. The Sales support administrator will collaborate with Account Executives and Sales Engineers and provide or assign the administrative support during the pre-sales process for opportunity types such as Request for Proposal (RFP), Design-Build, Box Sales, and Change Orders. The sales support administrator will have overall responsibility for all aspects required to assist the sales team with bid responses, D365 administration, conversion through contract administration, assigning support requests, leading sales support group meetings, as well as train incoming sales support administrator.

What will you be doing?

  • Sales Support of Sales Executives and Sales Engineers
  • Assist with bid sheet pricing and management, project, and box sale quotes
  • Reformat and upload BOM into Experlogix (pricing tool/database)
  • Verify and update part numbers to match Experlogix database
  • Document and submit new product DIVID request form when needed
  • Provide CRM configuration support
  • Provide qualification documentation support
  • Review and entry of quotes submitted by sales
  • Miscellaneous reporting & coordination as needed
  • Attend bid launches as needed with estimating team and partner departments using Microsoft Teams and Smart Sheets
  • Lead the team of administrative and support professionals including recruiting, managing, and training.
  • Motivate and encourage individuals to tackle new opportunities and challenges, create and implement processes and efficiencies and drive toward goals to increase profitability
  • Manage and assign duties and responsibilities, and ensure staff are performing with accuracy and diligence
  • Report directly to and meet with executive management

Complexity:
The Sales Support Specialist will receive new Admin Support assignments through the Sales Support Group which consists of non-technical and technical personnel that will work as a team to support the Account Executives (AEs) on larger opportunities.

Decision Making Authority:
The Sales Support Specialist will be responsible with the estimations department for tasking SSG team members as needed to provide all admin and/or engineering work required to properly complete a proposal from the initial opportunity to the final proposal submittal while interfacing with Account Executives (AEs) and Sales Leadership for final labor and GP reviews. The sales support manager is also responsible for awareness and assistance on projects that are not directly from a bid proposal including box sales, support contracts, new projects, and change orders through CRM.

Physical Working Environment:
Work is performed within normal home office conditions during normal business hours M-F.

  • Strong oral and written communicator
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, OneNote, Teams, D365)
  • 1+ years of professional experience in a supporting or coordinating role a plus
  • Central or mountain or pacific time zone a plus

Our compensation ranges reflect the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The pay details below range from our lowest geographic market up to our highest geographic market. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills and experience depending on the position offered, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
