| Job Description: | The Senior Commercial SMB Collector is accountable for oversight and management of all assigned problem loan accounts originated in the applicable P&C/PCG US lines of business and follows sound business practices to reduce the Bank's loss exposure in high risk accounts. The Senior Commercial SMB Collector is accountable for initiating collection processes on delinquent loans to reach a successful conclusion to a delinquency that benefits the Bank. The incumbent will make credit decisions/recommendations in accordance with sound credit-granting principles and in compliance with Bank Policy & Procedures. This role provides prompt attention to deteriorating risk situations and minimizes the Bank's loan loss exposure and maximizes recoveries of principal, interest and costs. | Job Requirements: | KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Knowledge: This position requires Credit Qualification. The incumbent must possess a basic level of Credit knowledge and skills and a basic level of Portfolio Management knowledge and skills according to the standards established within the Credit Qualification Process Policies & Procedures. Strong collections experience with an emphasis on mortgage loan collection and foreclosuresC&I and CRE collections. Fundamental credit knowledge which includes loan assessment and investigation, financial statement analysis, asset valuation, security evaluation, negotiation, credit correspondence, loan supervision and enforcing Creditor's rights. Basic knowledge of portfolio management and reporting requirements. Skills: Negotiation skills and ability to identify relevant matters. Developing analytical skills and ability to make appropriate recommendations to workout loan consultants and management. Collection experience or related knowledge. Effective time management and prioritization skills. Developing relationship management skills. Effectiveness in working in team environment. Strong writing/proofreading skills for technical reporting requirement. |
