Intrado is looking to hire a Benefits Specialist in Omaha.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain knowledge of legal issues surrounding employee benefit plans and insurance coverages to appropriately address all questions and concerns

  • Effectively communicate insurance coverage and answer all benefit questions

  • Respond to benefit hotline calls and emails in a timely manner, adhering to departmental policies and procedures

  • Verify benefit deductions are accurate and notify Payroll and employee of any missed or incorrect deductions

  • Process employee status changes and employee notifications as needed

  • Process tuition reimbursement requests verifying the forms have proper approval, documentation, and meet established guidelines

  • Complete daily administration of investment plans (i.e., 401(k) Plan RRSP) in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring adherence to departmental policies and procedures



Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Human Resources, Accounting or Business preferred

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years employee benefit experience in Human Resources or a similar environment required
  • Multi-site company experience preferred
  • Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirement
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, ADP, Oracle
  • Knowledge of federal, state and Canadian compliance preferred
