The Senior Systems Engineer is a pre-sales engineer that is responsible for assisting Account Managers with Unified Communications, Contact Center, Video, Data Center (UCS), and third-party solution planning, design, pricing, and most importantly selling.  The Senior Systems Engineer assumes a leadership role for the team and works independently on showcasing Cisco, ConvergeOne Collaboration, and third party products and professional services.  The candidate must keep up to date on relevant competitive solutions, products, and services.  This individual must also keep up to date on existing product offerings, as well as new product offerings ConvergeOne Collaboration decides to sell.  The Senior Systems Engineer must be willing to obtain Cisco and other certifications as needed. 

Consults with business users to obtain requirements, specifications and agree on timeframe for completion of assigned requests
• Interfaces with various vendors – Cisco, Nuance, Calabrio, eGain and others
• Writes detailed requirements, system design, proposals and statements of work.  Review specifications with business user to ensure compliance with requirements
• Creates comprehensive bill of materials adhering to Cisco’s SRND and best practices
• Mentors others
• Maintains commitment to adhering to ConvergeOne Collaboration processes

• 2+ years’ experience in designing Contact Center and or IPT solutions in a Cisco environment or competitive offerings
• 2+ years of experience developing proposals and statements of work
• Contact Center Workflow, Recording, Reporting, and third party Contact Center and Telephony products required
• Excellent verbal / written communication skills
• Strong experience in gathering and analyzing business drivers as it relates to Contact Center and Telephony
• Strong Systems Engineering skills
• Excellent Presentation skills
• Strong Customer facing skills
• Strong Documentation skills
• Ability to assume a leadership role
• Able to work independently
• Problem solving, diagnostic and analytical skills required
• Able to work under tight deadlines
• Able to manage multiple simultaneous work assignments
• Self-help IVR and Natural Language application experience helpful
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills. Able to deliver results in a high-energy/high-pressure environment
• Willing to learn new technologies and be flexible to work outside of regular business hours 

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

• Self-help IVR and Natural Language application experience helpful.
• Cisco certifications are a big plus, for example
  • Passed UCCED exam
  • Contact Center Express-related tests and certifications
  • Video
  • CCNA and/or CCDA
  • CVOICE or CCIE

Work Environment

Ability to handle multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment. This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
