We offer a unique perspective into the world of food manufacturing with a maximum 12-week paid internship in our Sales Department / Field Sales in the New England Region. As a key player on the Sales Team, the Field Sales Intern will have the opportunity to work with and learn under the Region Sales Manager

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with Broker retail team in the field.
  • Perform business analysis on promotion effectiveness, item performance, competitive activity.
  • Account calls / sales presentations.
  • Assist Region Sales manager with oversight and execution of sales plan with the Broker.
  • Assist Region Sales manager with financial management of trade spend in the region.
  • Run reports as needed from company systems.

 

 

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Completed Junior year of college with a concentration in {Business, Management, Marketing, Finance,}
  • Effective project management and time management skills
  • Self-driven individual with ability to work independently
  • Solid presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
  • Strong ability to work in teams and build good relationships high degree of personal integrity and work ethics
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); Advanced Excel skills with formulas and pivot tables a plus
