What will I be doing?

You will support our Kroger account in Cincinnati, OH. When IRI employees begin returning to the office at a timeframe to be determined in 2021, this role will have onsite requirements. You should have direct experience pulling and analyzing POS and consumer data within the CPG industry and strong quantitative analysis skills, with the ability to mine, manipulate, and visualize compelling stories from the data.

Responsibilities:

  • Support exceeding revenue and favorable data contract terms through quality delivery of solutions, reporting, and insights
  • Utilize POS, Consumer Panel, and eCommerce data sets to present fact-based arguments influencing decision making of retailer merchandising teams
  • Consult with retail clients on a full-range of IRI solutions, including custom projects
  • Coordinate and execute high quality on-going analytic and ad-hoc requests
  • Utilize creativity in identifying new techniques and processes
  • Identify and develop new project opportunities with client contacts
  • Establish and track critical metrics to measure progress against quality initiatives
  • Develop and leverage strong, collaborative relationships with internal IRI cross-functional teams
  • Primary liaison between the US and internal service teams
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver needs of business
  • Use a systematic approach to solving problems that involve breaking them into smaller pieces, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making comparisons of potential solutions before taking action.
  • Drive to achieve high-quality results through effective data integrity.
  • Determine effort and resources required to meet objectives; able to plan, coordinate and manage resources effectively to ensure task completion.
  • Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience with syndicated data, analytics, category management, or related fields is required
  • Marketing and/or sales analytics experience with a CPG company, Retailer, or other CPG industry companies using syndicated data
  • Demonstrated expertise in translating data and analysis into relevant implications
  • Experience with syndicated data is required
  • Strong project management and process skills
  • Ability to engage in a consultative manner with clients when helping solve/manage content deliverables
  • Bachelor's degree is required
