Marker & Shopper Intelligence Consultant - hybrid on site requirement at our client in Ewing, NJ

What will I be doing?

The Market and Shopper Intelligence Consultant will interface with senior client marketers, advising them on solutions to solve critical business questions. The Consultant will leverage their knowledge of IRI's wide range of proprietary consumer and shopper research solutions to recommend customized learning plans. The Consultant will also manage projects through completion, ensuring IRI delivers actionable insights that drive growth for our clients. The Consultant should be skilled in using research and data to tell a story rather than simply reporting information to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Consult clients on what research solutions best address their learning needs
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities for IRI by engaging with client teams, uncovering new prospective projects
  • Manage projects that our clients have commissioned, partnering with IRI's subject matter experts
  • Ensure that each project's final deliverables meet or exceed our clients' expectations and lead to a meaningful, positive impact on their business
  • Focus on Brand Marketing, Sales and Shopper Insights

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus
  • 10 or more years at consumer retail/foodservice companies, consumer packaged goods companies, or marketing researcher suppliers/agencies
  • Expert in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience with a range of primary research solutions, including surveys, segmentations, data analytics, and statistical analyses such as controlled market tests
  • Knowledge of shopper panel data preferred
