Job Description

Sartorius has an exciting opportunity for a Western Region Field Application Specialist- Stem cells and T cells to help our Advanced Therapy customers by providing strong scientific expertise. As a Field Application Specialist, you are responsible for proactively supporting the full range of Sartorius products and technologies during process development, optimization and manufacturing while making Sartorius the "partner of choice". In this key role you will develop strategic customer relationships and drive innovative solutions while working as part of a dynamic, highly motivated team.

The Field Application Specialist is fully integrated into a dynamic environment supporting existing and newly released products, working with cross-functional team including Technical and Scientific back office Support, Product Managers, Sales Representatives, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations.

What you will accomplish together with us

  • Support AT customers through technical presentations, consultation, and application studies

  • Drive business by collaborating closely with AT Sales and Product Management teams

  • Develop strong relationships thru technical credibility with customers in the assigned geographic territory

  • Support customer queries/complaints in a timely and professional manner

  • Represent services, products and overall value proposition in Scientific Forums by participating in technical conferences and local customer seminars

  • Participate in the strategic planning and execution of new product development and launch

  • Become a strong internal voice of customers

What will convince us

  • BA degree with 2+ years of relevant practical experience within the advanced/cell therapy industry OR

  • Master's level degree or higher in biotechnology, biochemistry or life sciences

  • Up to 50% domestic and up to 10% international travel

  • Broad theoretical knowledge in process development, pilot and production scales

  • Other Skills: Experience with cell therapy processes and applications - Commercial awareness - Previous experience in the biopharmaceutical industry and/or GMP manufacturing- Ability to present technical and scientific content to small and large audiences - Self-motivated with the ability to work independently- Hands on experience with cell culture - Excellent communication and presentation skill

Base salary offered for the position in Colorado is $85,000.00 - $115.000.00 plus bonus depending on experience. (Higher starting salaries may be available in other locations based on geographic differentials.
