The Healthcare IT Staging Intern will assist the Staging Engineer in implementing project designs and creation of integrated turn-key IT solutions through Agfa processes, IMS procedures and product guidelines to facilitate the delivery of quality services to the customer or our Agfa regional service teams.Timely completion of customer projects is critical to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. In addition, this internship opportunity requires a detailed individual to review technical configuration documents and to complete accurate paperwork to meet all Regulatory and Company compliances.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist the Staging Engineer who is responsible for the following:

  • Act as a technical Single Point Of Contact and manages the project through all phases of its staging lifecycle including hardware, software, firmware, project design implementation, deployment and ensures sustainability and readiness for customer production usage.
  • Builds the ordered project hardware into a project solution. Installs and configures all the hardware and software components together on storage, systems and networking level. Applies the required AGFA and 3rdparty applications on top.
  • Install in racks and configure servers from Oracle, HPE, and others, as well as map out, run, and connect all LAN and SAN network cabling and hardware.
  • Deploys advanced healthcare IT solutions based on standard high availability and site disaster recovery scenarios.
  • Depending on the desired HW and SW deploys advanced installations and configurations in the Staging Center.
  • Act as a single point of contact for the project during the staging activities and provides feedback after projects if needed.
  • Creates and provides hand-over project documentation in the mandatory staging report.

  • Knowledge of computer hardware systems and peripherals.
  • Ability to troubleshoot software and hardware problems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

  • Eager to learn.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (IT)

Experience:

  • Familiar with some or all of the following:
  • Office:Knowledge of MS office applications and related products.
  • IT-knowledge: Knowledge of IT workflow knowledge.
  • Technologies:(not limited to the list below)
  • Microsoft Operating Systems, Linux Operating Systems, VMware, TCPIP, Routing, DNS, PowerShell, SQL, Server and client platforms
