What will I be doing?

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with our Product Management Team to identify strategies that align and complement IRI's goals and objectives focusing specifically on our new product that was released earlier this year, IRI Opportunity Suite. This is a revolutionary automated insight and decision-making capability that provides companies and brands with recommendations based on granular data analysis and rigorous analytics, enabled by the world's leading B2B technology and data platform, IRI Liquid Data.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive overall roadmap and vision for IRI Opportunity Suite
  • Drive product releases by prioritizing team backlog
  • Act as gatekeeper for changes in direction and roadmap, and communicates impact to the team
  • Work with internal resources and clients to develop product requirements and use cases
  • Develop business cases for new solutions or solution extensions
  • Coordinate with Technology and Product Development teams, to ensure product release within time, quality, and budget constraints
  • Make recommendations to prioritize resources within and across multiple teams to meet client and internal objectives
  • Work with Data Science teams to develop appropriate methodologies and translate functional requirements into technical requirements
  • Assure solution documentation and release notes are in place for each new release and are updated throughout the release cycle
  • Engage directly with clients and internal sales and solutions teams to understand pain points, serve as a subject matter expert, identify future business needs and solution opportunities; ensure quality content and cutting-edge solutions are in continual evolution to compete with marketplace innovation and transformation
  • Participate actively in the sales process; provide sales enablement collateral for the sales team, and engage in client demonstrations and RFP requests
  • Develop training materials for IRI sales teams and clients

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Computer Science, Information Science, or related disciplines
  • 3+ years of software product management experience working with solutions focused on Data Analytics, Data Science, AI, or Machine learning
  • Experience managing a solution or service through the full product lifecycle; strong working knowledge of the product planning and release process
  • Comfort working in an Agile software development environment, with the ability to translate software backlogs and ranked requirements to sales/marketing schedules
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and persuasive skills, including the ability to communicate at all business levels
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Exceptional project management skills; able to maintain focus amidst competing priorities from multiple stakeholders
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously against tight deadlines
  • Proven ability to self-prioritize tasks/goals
