As the Unified Communications Solutions Architect, you will provide program, product, administrative, and 3rd level technical support functions across IFF's enterprise for all cloud communications technologies.

  • Architecting, Deploying, and Managing Communications solutions
  • Integrating new locations into the Corporate IT cloud voice technology suite
  • Product Managing the unified communications portfolio and strategy
  • Setting standards for services - Executive/Company, Critical Business, and Peer-2-Peer
  • Vendor management of outsourced resources
Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Experience in Microsoft Cloud (Office 365 and Azure) technologies including networking
  • Extensive experience with Windows PowerShell script execution
  • Experience with Cloud PBX and VoIP, Computer Telephony
  • Experience with analog voice technologies
  • Experience with voice routing and networking
  • Understanding of global voice technologies and local challenges
  • Experience with conferencing hardware and software - Polycom, AirMedia, Barco
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently and in a team environment
  • Excellent communication skills in a user-facing role
  • Excellent documentation skills including architecture, runbooks, and knowledge transfer

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in IT
  • MCSE, MCITP or equivalent certification is a plus

Preferred Experience:

  • Microsoft Audio Conferencing
  • Microsoft Cloud PSTN integration with Skype/Teams
  • Single Sign on with Active Directory Federation Services or Okta
  • Understanding of cloud security in a Microsoft environment
  • Azure Active Directory and Azure Active Directory Connect
  • Collaboration with Teams, OneNote, OneDrive and other Office 365 tools
  • Integration of UC technologies with Mobile Devices
  • An understanding of policy-based administration and best practices
  • Experience with Voice over IP (VoIP) Services.
  • Working experience with Microsoft Cloud based solutions in large enterprise environments.
  • Ability to handle critical issues and work in difficult situations.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to develop strategic ongoing relationships to gain the trust and respect of company leaders.
