Job Description

Responsible for auditing raw materials, components, product and processes to assure compliance to MBCI specifications. Works within the Quality System, using analysis and statistical techniques, to assist in the continual improvement of the manufacturing processes. Assists in the coordination, compilation and analysis of test and inspection reports. Compliance with safety rules, regulations and procedures and good housekeeping practices

  • Analyzes all procedures, inspection techniques, inspection equipment and implements improvements that will improve inspection effectiveness
  • Performs purchased material quality planning, evaluation and control
  • Performs product and process quality evaluation and control
  • Assure calibration of measuring instruments
  • Perform internal audits as prescribed within the MBCI Business System
  • Participate in the customer complaint analysis
  • Periodically review specifications, drawings, work instructions, etc. for currency and accuracy
  • Perform product audits
  • Supports employees as needed to interpret specs and solve problems
  • Provide accurate quality information feedback
  • Provide training/coaching on quality information feedback
Qualifications
  • Ability to be a team player with strong communication skills
  • Ability to distinguish and identify parts by species, style and color
  • Ability to actively lead and participate in problem solving
  • Ability to train associates in accepted quality practices
  • Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
  • Strong understand of manufacturing process flow
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications and component drawings
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and lock-out policy
  • Knowledge of product and raw material involved in cabinet manufacturing
  • Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication.
