If the answer is yes, then this is your opportunity to join a dynamic, experienced, and motivated team of commercial executives as our new NOAM Senior Account Manager - Scent Ingredients!
This role will offer you the opportunity to make immediate contributions to our aggressive sales growth initiatives and develop a unique skillset by serving our customers in the NOAM region (i.e., USA and Canada).

As the new NOAM Ingredients Senior Account Manager, you will be accountable for achieving budgeted sales revenue and gross profit; you will contribute to develop commercial strategies in the NOAM region and execute them to drive sustainable profitable sales & market share growth within our Scent Ingredients division. You will identify customer needs & opportunities, establish/build solid customer relationship, lead & coordinate IFF activities and promote/sell relevant IFF Ingredient solutions for the clients partnering with the Ingredients Solutions Team. You will be responsible for providing accurate sales forecast to drive operations planning and finance analysis.
You will be reporting to the Global Sales Director.

About You...


You have a true passion for sales, with a strong interest in fragrances, ingredients and/or specialty chemicals, the ability to build and maintain outstanding customer relationships, and a solid consumer and market understanding. Learning on the Fly, Strategic Agility, Action oriented, Perseverance, Drive for results, Negotiating are all skills you truly excel at. Your expertise includes strong organizational and planning skills, and ability to implement best practices/processes.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • 5-7+ years of successful sales experience including contributions to sales strategy development, prioritization, and execution.
  • Confident, dynamic, and enthusiastic professional with ability to generate trust, internally and externally, by delivering on commitments and to impact customers at the highest levels.
  • Excellent listening and presentation skills, you are a reliable team player.
  • Preferably specialty chemical and /or fragrance industry experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical engineering, Biology or similar is preferred.
  • Master's degree (incl. Business) is a plus.
  • Potential to travel in the future.
