Job Description

It's an exciting time to be part of , we are looking for our next Supply Manager to join our Procurement Team. It's ahybrid job opportunity,1 to 2 days on site per week at ourSouth Brunswick, NJorPennsylvania, PAsites and 3 days remote.

The Supply Manager will be responsible for supply and service assurance and vendor management of spend to support assigned site(s). For raw material spend, the Supply Manager is responsible for maintaining prices and source lists in the system, and resolving price discrepancy and supply disputes with vendors. This role supports site demand and meets customer requests in most the efficient and effective manner at the lowest cost and admin. This position is also responsible for sourcing and vendor management to support our sites.

You Will Spend Your Time...

  • Reviewing market dynamics, economic situation, and business practices
  • Monitoring and managing performance of direct spend for assigned locations/portfolio and ensuring continuity of supply for designated sites of responsibility
  • Working closely with planning and manufacturing to address potential supply shortage
  • Managing local sourcing for the assigned plant(s) and regional sourcing portfolio in accordance with Global Procurement policies, systems, and procedures
  • Building and managing internal relationships with C&A, Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, Quality, and external relationships with suppliers/potential supply partners for smooth and efficient execution of purchasing strategies
  • Maintaining purchasing system (SAP), supplier contact info, plant IPC assignment, and commercial costing
  • Supporting corporate documentation, payment terms, and report generation
  • Budgeting and forecasting cost of raw materials under scope of responsibility
  • Developing supplier network to ensure continuity of supply and cost competitiveness
  • Leading SRM engagement with assigned suppliers
  • Contributing to the execution of Global Procurement strategies by bringing in market intelligence and opportunities to optimize TCO and /or differentiation
  • Supporting CETs in identifying and executing category strategies for the assigned portfolio
  • Collaborating with commercial and creative teams as required both for day-to-day requirements and strategic initiatives

Job Requirements
  • SAP MM module
  • Knowledge of Financial analysis, legal framework, and business drivers
  • Extensive sourcing capabilities
  • Preferred Buying certification like APICS, SCM or SPSM
  • Customs and international trade experience
  • Engineer, Business or something related
  • Materials Planning System (MRP, ERP)


Required Experience

  • Years of strategic sourcing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Supply Chain, Business, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the Food, Food Ingredients and or Flavors industry
  • Experience in the Fragrance industry is a plus
