- Troubleshooting and repairing CNC Milling equipment (this includes but not limited to adjusting, repairing or replacing defective parts, install special functional and structural parts in machinery, listening to the machinery sounds to locate causes of trouble. Work to support Factory and production needs.Installs equipment using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance. Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts.
Trouble shorts, repairs and maintains industrial machinery and mechanical equipment such as CNC Machines, equipment, presses, lathes, mills, motors, pneumatic tools, and other production machines. Responsible for electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical aspects of repair. Dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, and repairs industrial machinery and equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, drawings, or verbal instructions. Installs equipment using hand and power tools; constructs foundations; aligns machines; performs scheduled inspection and maintenance. Sets up and operates machine tools and fabrication machinery to rework or make new parts. Ability to lift 100 lbs. on occasion.
- 2+ years of experience in machine maintenance. Machine certification a plus
- Using a volt meter to check for presence of voltage (0-480VAC)
- 3 phase motor troubleshooting experience
- Experience with motor control circuits, contactors, VFDs, and servos
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic devices and their operation
- Able to use precision measuring tools (dial caliper, depth micrometer, dial indicator, wire gauge, to 0.0001
- Experience with basic electronics, electrical/electronic training, basic computer repair
- Experience with rebuilding equipment containing some or all: thrust bearings, precision ball bearings, ball screws, linear way bearings
