You Will


-Executes the Grainger Service Promise and demonstrates, by action, the company Values.
-Accurately receives product from multiple sources including Grainger competitors; effectively puts
away product to utilize time efficiently and maximize cube space.
-Processes backorders to fulfill customer orders and meet order ready times.
-Picks & stages customer orders to achieve company goals and Customer expectations.
-Accurately picks and prepares orders for customer. (**tracking items removed from crib**)
-Contacts customers in order to purge old orders and release product for purchase by other
customers.
-Picks, prepares, stages and documents product for customer pick up.
-Performs inventory counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
-Performs stock alignments, replenished and maintains as necessary storeroom and VMI areas to
improve inventory performance and accuracy.
-Grounds keeping and trash collection/disposal to ensure a clean, well-groomed appearance for
customers and employees. Maintain a clean work environment
-Warehouse housekeeping - Block/Flaps/Bin Maintenance to maintain a clean inventory
environment and maximize cube space.
-Support customer service by assisting customers picking up and loading product.
-Support will call service as needed to maintain a high level of customer service
-Disposes of Defective Hazmat/Lighting /Scrap products in compliance with RPG guidelines.
-Could participate in all regulatory training (Hazmat, Refrigeration, Back & Knife... etc.) and other
company training initiatives.
-With appropriate cross-training, provides back up support at service counter during peak service
times. - Monitoring inventory stocking levels in storerooms and vending equipment as applicable.
-Utilizing Grainger.com for customer inventory needs and ordering as necessary-Knowledgeable of Grainger offers to help streamline orders and provide ongoing support for
customers
-Resolves customer problems promptly and accurately in a manner that will retain and promote
customer loyalty
-Exhibit a continuous improvement mindset
-Complies with the safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being
provided. Helps generate new orders by engaging with customer to identify additional product
needs (e.g., seeks and captures "spot buy" opportunities while on site, looks for additional
opportunities to add items to program under KeepStock program).
-Assist Managed MRO Inventory Specialists in assigned job tasks

You Have

-High School Diploma or equivalent
-2 to 3 years of customer service experience preferred
-1 year warehouse / material handling experience preferred
-Must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
-Able to operate computerized scanning equipment and PC based programs including SAP.
-Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
-Is aware of own strengths and weaknesses. Is open to developmental feedback and takes
responsibility for personal development.
-Must pass a pre-employment and ongoing drug screen & background check as needed.
-Self-motivated, with high energy and dedication to customer service and sales growth.
-Demonstrated ability to apply excellent judgment and business acumen with independent
problem solving and decision making skills.
-Handle complex technical, operational and financial issues. Operate in a complex, rapidly
changing environment.
-Adapt to and abide by all rules established for safety and security at each customer location
