Title:Vice President, Mosaic (Thematic Access & Research - Emerging Private Companies & Technology Trends)

Location:Open

Summary:

Responsible for developing access, content, and a strong industry network around emerging and disruptive technologies. Identify new trends and themes that will disrupt or enable existing business models and companies, and then work directly with an extended community of private company executives, technology innovators and thought leaders internally and externally to develop, manage, and then deliver unique content offerings for an institutional investor audience.

  • Develop products, events, and access that educates, influences, and delivers value for our institutional investor audience

  • Work directly with technology innovators, industry leaders, institutional investor clients and private companies in the assigned sector industries to develop and curate ideas and trend identification

  • Partner with our Equity Sales and Mosaic Account Management to provide clients with context and access to the most relevant appropriate Mosaic resource(s) including but not limited to technologists, industry leaders, private companies, and Mosaic proprietary research products.

  • Manage and maintain strong industry relationships; build and sustain a strong community of founders, innovators, and private company technologists.

  • Identify and communicate new and emerging themes within the technology sector to internal stakeholders in KeyBanc Capital Markets, including equity research and investment banking.

  • Develop new products (industry trends) and capabilities to support client understanding around the research agenda and program.

  • Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity or experience with one or more verticals in the technology industry, with a particular preference for experience with early stage and growth company founders. Experience across multiple industries/verticals/companies is a plus.

  • Expertise along with an ability to influence stakeholders within specified sectors.

  • Previous work building or managing technical communities, founder communities, or technical meetup groups a strong plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong organizational skills.

  • Self-motivated and ability to take ownership of all aspects of position.

  • Strong networking ability.

  • Process knowledge and planning abilities. Problem-solving skills.

  • U.S. work authorization required.

  • Approximately 10-20% travel required.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Health Sciences, Mathematics, Statistics, or Marketing and experience and success within an analytics, marketing, developer relations, product management, business development, corporate development, or corporate innovations role.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $150,000 to $225,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
