What you will accomplish together with us:
Functions as a general technologist for manufacturing processes involved in one (or possibly more) of the company's product lines such as microcarriers or particle/validation standards
As a Production Technician, this individual requires close supervision and works directly with a trainer or supervisor in learning and following detailed manufacturing protocols
Detailed duties would include but are not limited to the following:
Learns details of step-by-step ISO work instructions and executes "batch processing" of customer deliverables under close supervision of trainers, supervisors and/or QA staff
Involved in fabrication of microcarriers or particle standards in accordance with ISO procedures and work instructions
Assists with general laboratory procedures such as sample collection and solution preparation
Operates equipment associated with product processes following all relevant safety guidelines
Responsible for cleaning and validation of equipment and vessels used in manufacturing procedures and assists with clean room "scrubbing" following approved protocols
Records data on product routers and other documentation according to approved procedures
Monitors processes, records, interprets results, and provides feedback or suggestions for improving work instructions, product processes or ergonomics
Assist other team members and site management team with miscellaneous duties when requested.
What will convince us:
High school diploma
Manufacturing experience in a GMP or ISO environment would be a plus
Excellent oral and written communication
Reading calculations and simple operations
Knowledge of materials, products, equipment, and associated processes
Excellent knowledge of quality, safety, security, and environment standards & procedures
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50-lbs when necessary
Proficient in MS Office
