Sartorius is seeking an Software Engineer to join its growing team!
As Software Engineer for embedded computers, you will develop and support cutting edge software enabled products for customers in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. The holder of this position will be the primary developer of our next generation platform that will control the sensors and robotics of our Octet immunoassay instruments. The Octet platform is used widely in vaccine research and manufacturing. While the focus is on hardware control and data acquisition, this position doubles as a full-stack developer where you will be involved in developing an embedded database for storage, a touch screen UI, and cloud connectivity.
What you will accomplish together with us:
Design, develop and enhance our custom Linux OS.
Develop our toolchain, automated build system, and test and performance frameworks.
Collaborate with firmware and hardware engineers.
Implement digital signal processing algorithms.
Implement security features.
Integrate peripherals such as touchscreens, USB devices, and laboratory robotics.
What will convince us:
Bachelor's degree or master's degree in computer science/engineering or a related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in developing commercial software products.
Excellent development skills with proven high-level proficiency in C++.
Experience with multi-threaded programming.
