We are seeking a Data Expert for our Data Strategy & Management department with a comprehensive understanding of Master Data Management for the data objects Customer and Vendor.
This is a hybrid role, to be based out of Bohemia, NY.
What you will accomplish together with us
- Support our internal stakeholders within the daily handling of the master data (customer and vendor) and ensure that template processes are executed based on data architecture and governance principles
- Work cross-functionally on all aspects of master data and act as main point of contact
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure that business requirements and needs are identified and aligned with the global data governance
- Continuous improvement of our processes, systems and governance
- Support and lead data driven initiatives and projects
- Work in the SAP MDG tool where you will create, review and approve change requests for our customer and vendors
- Drive cleansing activities to improve the data quality for all master data objects
- Execute data reports with Quick Viewer and SE16N
- First contact for requests regarding master data maintenance & guidelines within the operational business
- Collaborate with the global data team to establish an ongoing communication and exchange
- Execute and support training and testing activities
- Process documentation and coordinate training courses for users and stakeholders
What will convince us
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Information Technology
- 1-3 years related work experience with master data management, data integration, data governance, data analysis, or data quality to support cross-functional business teams
- Experience with SAP MDG, SAP ERP, Salesforce and eBusiness platforms
- Strong team player
- Ability to travel 10%, both domestically and internationally based on projects
