Distribution Operations Manager: Salary up to $100,000/year + 20% annual bonus potential

The Distribution Operations manager is to be responsible for overseeing the productivity and material flow throughout the Cranbury, NJ distribution center. In this role, you'll be keeping track of all operations and ensuring that all policies, procedures, and safety rules are followed.

The Cranbury, NJ Distribution center is a 24/5 operation. Flexibility in working hours is required depending on the needs of the operation.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and/or supervise other projects as directed by the Director
• Responsible for developing current/new Department Managers

• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with all sales associates, branch personnel and distribution associates.
• Build upon Departmental Goals monthly and ensure adherence to established KPIs
• Communicate, in a timely manner, steps taken to correct problems or ongoing issues
• Champion the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of organizational management protocols, practices, and tools
• Drive safety, quality, and profitability to meet or exceed company objectives
• Act as a strategic partner on the leadership team and liaison among different departments to improve operation results
• Ensure warehouse operation is led with efficiency and success
• Create, update, and reorganize standard operating procedures
• Create open forum for areas in the warehouse that have critical opportunities for improvement
• Review and Analyze business intelligence tools and review potential improvements for organization and increased visibility

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree is preferred, equivalent experience will be considered
• 5+ years' management experience in a Distribution Center / Fulfillment Center environment required
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience or RF Warehouse Experience a plus
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills to optimally respond to urgent situations
• Must be process oriented with good judgment and decision-making abilities, strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to lead a team
• Strong technical skills included but not limited to Microsoft O365 applications
• Proficient written and communication skills
• Epicor Eclipse (ERP) knowledge a plus
