Service Technician

Restaurant Technologies is the leading provider of bulk cooking oil management services to the food service industry, partnering with restaurants across the U.S. including McDonalds, Applebee's, Burger King, and more. We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to join our growing team. Our Service Technicians are responsible for installing and servicing our equipment for our food service customers.

Position Description

The Service Technician is responsible for installing our products for new customers and training customers on how to use the equipment. The Service Technician will also support our existing customers through service, repair and routine maintenance of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation, service and repair on Total Oil Management and AutoMist systems at our customer sites
  • Drive company vans to sites in order to complete repairs and installs (valid driver's license required)
  • Maintain proper paperwork standards and inventory
  • Follow proper HACCP guidelines and employee safety policies
  • Utilize Restaurant Technologies phone protocols and provide excellent customer service
  • Visit and/or call customers to ensure that Restaurant Technologies' performance is up to the customer's standards
  • Participate in "on call" schedule rotation based on customer needs

Position Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver's license
  • 1-3 years of equipment installation experience preferred, or a strong mechanical aptitude
  • A clean driving record, CDL preferred but not required
  • Ability to work variety of day, weekend and/or overnight shifts (specific schedule will be discussed upon interview)
  • No major violations within the past 5 years (including but not limited to):
    • DUI
    • Driving while suspended/revoked
    • Excessive Speed
    • Reckless/Careless Driving
    • Distracted Driving
    • Improper Lane Change
