Overview
The Product Control Specialist will ensure appropriate levels of inventory by reviewing the system recommendations made by the various planning platforms that CUSA utilizes.

This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Forecast needs and order inventory from Japan and Europe and allocate inventory to warehouses/regions for hardware, supplies, and parts.
- Respond to inquiries regarding order status, availability, required dates, etc.
- When shortages are identified, create recovery plans that will reduce back order risk, without creating unnecessary air freight expense.
- Proactively analyze product line responsibilities for write-off risk, or other inventory inefficiencies.
- Analyze previous sales trends and forecasts future sales of hardware, parts, and supplies to assist with the development of realistic sales plans and goals.
- Determine appropriate product allocation to regional offices based upon previous sales records to ensure high volume dealers maintain an adequate level of merchandise in inventory.
- Provide supplies backup for LFS and CINC.
- Arizona Hardware procurement and planning.
- Provide Colorwave & Plotwave procurement and planning.
- Provide analytical support for supplies.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 3 to 5 years of related experience.
- Applicant must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Sales administration or inventory control experience is required in replacement of education.
- Experience with Hyperion a plus.
- He/she should be well organized and capable of formulating logical resolutions to problems, frequently while in pressure situations.
- Good verbal and written skills are essential to develop purchasing plans and interact with the various product groups.
