NYU Grossman School of Medicine, an affiliate of Woodhull Medical Center, is seeking an experienced, full-time Director of Adolescent Medicine. The director will ensure that the delivery of primary health care to young adolescents is developed and managed in accordance with the hospital mission, strategic direction and business position for best practices in adolescent medicine. In addition, the Attending Physician will be responsible for fulfilling such duties as assessments, planning, teaching and counseling as appropriate.
The successful candidate will provide primary and consultative care to adolescent patients, teaching pediatric residents and medical students in the adolescent clinical setting, completing administrative tasks, and analyzing performance indicators. The candidate will also participate in program quality improvement of our adolescent clinical program.
Requirements:
-Board certified
-Minimum 3 years of experience
