Psychiatrist- ER

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding two (2) Psychiatrists (ER) to the group at North Central Bronx Hospital. NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx is a 457-bed community hospital providing quality care in a friendly and setting. This facility provides a range of services, and is known for its outstanding Behavioral Health, Women’s Health, Primary Care, Pediatric, Geriatric and Specialty Ambulatory services. The department of Psychiatry has 3 Adult Inpatient Units, a satellite CPEP, a Psychiatry Consultation Liaison service, a Partial Hospital Program, an Outpatient Department, and an ACT team. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with the James J. Peters VA Medical Center to continue its high standards of healthcare delivery, and to provide its staff with teaching and research opportunities.

• The ER Psychiatrist will have responsibility for clinical and educational activities in the ER Unit, including participation in a multidisciplinary treatment team.
•  He/She will participate in activities related to clinical care and documentation of care, performance improvement regulatory compliance and student education.
•  He/She will report to their Unit Chief and Inpatient Director.
•  He/She will also participate in our innovative integrative care activities.

• Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified within 5 years in Adult Psychiatry
• Completion of an approved Psychiatry residency training program.
• MD or DO from accredited school of medicine
• License to practice medicine in the State of NY
