Radiology Biostatistician Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Biostatistician. In this role, the successful candidate will work with the Radiology Research team on statistical analyses. A strong background in applied statistics is necessary to perform the types of complex analyses imaging data generally demands. The focus of this role will be on performing statistical analyses in a wide range of areas. The Biostatistician will work with research groups in clinical and basic science on study design, protocol development, statistical analysis, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation as directed by the clinical and research leadership teams.
Job Responsibilities & Required Qualifications
PhD in biostatistics, statistics or related field, minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience.
· Expert proficiency with the required job responsibilities.
· Proficient in at least three of R, SAS, SPSS, M-Plus or STATA.
· Skills in descriptive analysis, modeling of data, study design and graphic interfaces.
· Outstanding ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery with meticulous quality.
· Ability to become well-versed with relevant medical and imaging concepts and terminology.
· Conduct statistical analyses for research manuscripts for publication.
· Conduct statistical power analyses for planning research projects.
· Advise PIs and research fellows on appropriate statistical methodology.
· Contribute to research design, methods, and results sections for research publications and grant applications.
